2.4.2. The on-board computer and the help at the parking

Irrespective of the chosen SID function automatically includes the warning of ice if external temperature makes from-3 to 3 hail (except the NIGHT PANEL mode).
For dumping of values of all functions, except DIST, ALARM and SPD W, press the CLEAR button and hold it within not less than 4 seconds.
Installation of values of the functions SPD 0, SPD W, DIST, ARRIV, ALARM
For installation of values of these functions at first choose the corresponding function as buttons

At installation of zero value of function of speed and an alarm clock these functions are turned off. Besides, values for these functions are not erased from memory at switching off of the engine. |
The included function is marked with a sign · on the display.
Calculation of arrival time and average speed
For calculation of arrival time establish distance to the destination (DIST) and choose the ARRIV function. Arrival time pays on the basis of average speed for the last 20 minutes of the movement. At a stop its time is added by the time of arrival. At the choice of the DIST function the remained distance to the destination is displayed. When the distance to the destination reaches zero, DIST performs function of the passable way. As initial size for the counter of the passable way the last preset value of the DIST function is used.
For calculation of arrival time at a certain speed of the movement establish distance to the destination (DIST), the speed of the movement (SPD 0) and choose the ARRIV function.
For calculation of the average speed (SPD 0) necessary for arrival in the destination removed on distance (DIST) and in the set time (ARRIV) act similarly.
Check mode
At start of the engine approximately within 4 seconds the inscription "CHECK" ("CHECK") is brought to the display. If the message on check comes to time of the movement, the sound signal is distributed and the inscription "INFO DISPL" is brought to the display before this message. If there are several messages, to the left of an inscription the symbol "" appears. Messages appear in the priority sequence, depending on their importance. For removal of the message from the display quickly press the CLEAR button. The list of possible messages is given below:

* For removal of this message briefly press the CLEAR button, and then press it once again and hold not less than 8 seconds until on the display the inscription "SERVICE" appears and the sound signal will be distributed.
NIGHT PANEL mode ("The night panel")
This mode is intended for increase in comfort when driving in night-time due to reduction of volume of information issued to the driver – only the most important counters and indicators burn. Inclusion and switching off of the mode is made by pressing the NIGHT PANEL button.
Units of measurements and languages
SID can work at one of 6 languages (Swedish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish) and one of 4 sets of units of measure (the metric, American and two mixed set).
For an entrance to the mode of installation of set of units of measure and language at the same time press and hold the CLEAR and SET buttons during 4 with, the sound signal will not be distributed yet.
Establish the required units of measure by means of buttons
Installation of time and date
Time is determined by two small buttons located in the left part. For display of time at the switched-off ignition press one of the SID buttons, except "NIGHT PANEL".
For installation of date choose the TEMP function and hold the SET button not less than 1 second (the sound signal will be distributed and on the display year will begin to blink).
Establish the current year by means of buttons
SID 1
By means of buttons with shooters it is possible to choose one of functions (TEMP, D.T.E., FUEL 0, SPD 0). The description of functions is given above for SID 2.
The message on ice and messages on checks is issued similar to SID 2.
Inclusion and switching off of the NIGHT PANEL mode, and also dumping of all values are made similar to SID 2. For confirmation of input the CLEAR button is used.
For installation of units of measure and language of the display press at the same time the CLEAR button and an arrow up and hold them during 4 pages. Further the procedure is performed similar to SID 2.
For installation of date in the TEMP mode press during 1 about at the same time CLEAR button and an arrow down. Further the procedure is performed similar to SID 2.
The acoustic help at the parking

The device of ensuring the help at the parking is installed as an additional accessory. Remember that small and/or narrow objects can be not always found by system. |
The system contains 4 ultrasonic sensors radiators located in a rear bumper which register objects at distance to 1.8 m behind the car.
The system is activated automatically at inclusion of a backing and at detection of a subject displays on the SID display the message of "PARK ASSIST" together with generation of short sound signals. Signals become frequent in process of approach of the car to an obstacle and at distance less than 30 cm turn into continuous tone. Character of signals considerably changes at distance of 90 cm – it the distance is most convenient for unloading/loading of a luggage carrier.
The system of the help at the parking can be disconnected. For this purpose at the activated system press and hold the CLEAR button before emergence on the display of the message "PARK ASSIST OFF". In the same way the system joins. Besides, the system joins always at inclusion of ignition.
At detection of internal malfunction (for example, at pollution of sensors) and impossibility of work of system it gives a constant sound to inform the driver on it.
