14.9. Adjustment of an inclination of headlights

Adjustment of an inclination of headlights is made or automatically, or from salon, by means of the regulator (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation). The description of adjustment of fog lights is given below. The procedure of an adjustment of headlights is described in the Section Adjustment of Headlights.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure distance from the center of a lens to a floor and apply on a wall a tag in the form of a cross at the same height.
  1. Include fog lights.
  1. Rotating the adjusting screw achieve that the light bunch was inclined for 1-2% (from distance between the car and a wall) concerning a cross. For example, if the car from the car to a wall of 10 m, a bunch has to settle down on 10 ÷ 20 cm under a tag.
