6.5.5. Removal and installation of components of the EVAP system

Sensor of pressure of vapors of fuel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the fuel tank and clear area around pressure sensor compressed air.
  1. Turn out the screw of fastening of the sensor, disconnect from it an electrical wiring and remove the sensor.
  1. Installation is made upside-down. Previously make sure of purity of the interfaced surfaces and grease a sealing ring of the sensor with acid-free vaseline.

Adsorber

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the fuel tank.
  1. Disconnect from an adsorber the line of a purge and a hose of the valve of a cut-off (2 on an illustration).
  1. Disconnect lines from the fuel tank to an absorber (3 on an illustration). For this purpose at first press the socket towards an absorber (a), then squeeze pads of a clamp (b) and disconnect a hose (c).
  2. By means of special adaptation weaken an adsorber purge hose.
  3. Give fixture (5 on an illustration) and remove an adsorber.
  4. Installation is made upside-down. You watch correctness and reliability of connection of hoses.

Cut-off valve

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the car, cut a cable coupler (2 on an illustration), separate and remove the socket (3) devices of a purge.
  1. By means of the screw-driver disconnect the purge device from an arm of a jellied tube (4 on an illustration). Clear the purge device.
  2. Remove the top cover of the valve of a cut-off (6 on an illustration).
  1. Separate the socket of the valve of a cut-off and remove a washer (7 on an illustration).
  1. Shift a cover (8 on an illustration) so that to provide access to a collar (9), weaken a collar and remove the valve.
  2. Installation is made upside-down.

Adsorber purge valve

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken quick disconnect connection of a hose of a purge of an adsorber (1 on illustrations) and remove the valve of a purge (2) from an arm.
Removal of the valve of a purge on petrol V6 engines.
  1. Accurately turn the valve and separate its socket (3 on illustrations) then disconnect the valve from a hose (4).
  2. Installation is made upside-down.
