2.5.2. Tempostat

Control tempostaty is exercised by means of the left understeering switch (see the illustration Inclusion of Driving Beam of Headlights).

Use of a tempostat at the intense movement (for example, in the city), on slippery and twisting roads, and also in other road situations which can force to change speed can lead to loss of control over driving. In order to avoid casual activation of a tempostat do not leave included in it if it is not used.

Tempostat is intended for maintenance of constant speed of the car (not lower than 40 km/h) without need to hold a leg on the accelerator pedal.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For activation of a tempostat move the switch to situation "ON/OFF". At activation of a tempostat lights up corresponding To/L in a combination of devices. For deactivation move the switch to this situation once again.
  2. For installation of constant speed of the movement activate темпостат, accelerate the car to the required speed (not less than 40 km/h) and press an end face of the left understeering switch (inscription "SET/+").

On abrupt rises / descents when using a tempostat the car can reduce/increase speed. For temporary increase in speed (for example, when overtaking) press the accelerator pedal; after an otpuskaniye of the accelerator pedal earlier chosen constant speed will automatically be established.

  1. For cancellation of the established constant speed move the switch to situation "CANCEL". Cancellation of the established speed happens automatically when pressing a pedal of a brake or coupling.
  2. For increase/reduction of the current established speed execute one of the following sequences of actions:
  • Hold the switch in situation according to "SET/+" or "RESUME/-". After achievement of necessary speed release the switch.
  • Quickly move the switch to situation "SET/+" or RESUME/-. Speed respectively will increase or will decrease approximately by 1.6 km/h and will be brought in memory of a tempostat as new constant speed.
  • Disperse/slow down the car to the required speed and quickly move the switch to situation "SET/+" or RESUME/-.
  1. For return to the established earlier constant speed after its cancellation move the switch to situation "RESUME/-".
