4.6.2. Removal and installation of a back cover of a belt of the GRM drive

The description of removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its forward cover is provided in the Section Removal and installation of heads of cylinders and driving belts.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take off a GRM drive belt.
  2. Turn out a stopper over a cogwheel of TNVD and screw the M6 screw to record it.
  1. Remove gear TNVD wheels (22 on an illustration), a pulley (23) of a bent shaft and separate the socket (24) of the CKP sensor.
  1. Remove a back cover of a belt of the GRM drive, take from it epiploons and clear its interfaced surfaces of pro-masonry materials.
  1. Remove a rotor of the CKP sensor and two intermediate gear wheels of TNVD from a bent shaft.
  1. Establish TNVD drive gear wheels so that tags on them coincided.
  1. Install the being removed components in the sequence, the return sequence of dismantle of components. At installation of a back cover of a belt of the GRM drive apply on its interfaced surfaces sealant (No. 87 81 841 according to the Saab catalog).
