10.3.2. Dismantling, assembly and cleaning of hinges of power shafts

Hit of dirt under protective covers of hinges of power shafts is not admissible therefore previously it is necessary to clear covers and area around them, and also to take care of purity during work.

Internal hinge

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove collars of fastening of a protective cover of the hinge and remove a casing of the tripodny hinge (1).
  1. Clear and remove a lock ring then bring down the hinge (2) from a shaft.
  2. Remove from a shaft a protective cover (3) hinges and clear all details.
  3. Put on a new protective cover and a new collar of a cover a shaft.
  4. Install the hinge on a shaft and check that its slanted party is turned to a power shaft. Use a new lock ring.
  5. Fill the hinge lubricant according to requirements of Specifications.
  6. Install the case of the hinge and fix a protective cover by a new collar.

External hinge

Dismantling and assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fix a power shaft in a vice, remove collars of a protective cover (2) hinges and shift a cover on a shaft.
  1. Clear the hinge (4) of lubricant and bring down it the hammer with soft brisk.
  2. Remove an old protective cover from a shaft and establish a new cover.
  3. Fill the hinge lubricant according to requirements of Specifications and a vpressuyta in it a power shaft.
  4. Establish a protective cover in the correct situation and fix it by new collars.

Cleaning

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn the bearing so that it was possible to take balls (1), then turn an internal holder so that it could be taken from an external holder (2) and remove an external holder (3).
  1. Clear the removed components of the bearing and clear them.
  2. Installation is made upside-down.
