11:10. Removal and installation of components of the parking brake and its drive

Check and adjustment of the parking brake are described in the Section Check of the Brake System.

Lever of the drive of the parking brake

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the car, remove a returnable spring from each party and unhook cables of the parking brake from its adjustable levers. Lower the car on the earth.
  2. Remove the central console and a casing from the lever of the parking brake (see the Head Kuzov).
  1. Separate the socket of the sensor of the cocked parking brake (5) and remove a collar (6) of an electrical wiring.
  1. Give 4 nuts of fastening of the lever of the parking brake (7), lift it and accurately extend up in salon assembly of the equalizer.
  2. Turn a tip of a cable of the parking brake on a corner the 90th hail. also separate it from the equalizer (9).
  3. Installation is made upside-down. After installation adjust the parking brake (see the Section Check of the Brake System).

Cables of the parking brake

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release the parking brake and a poddomkratta the car.
  2. Separate forward section of an exhaust pipe from back section (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  1. Remove the left suspension (4) of an exhaust pipe, turn out two back fixing nuts (5) on the left side of the thermofilter (6) and unbend it to provide access to the equalizer.
  1. Remove a returnable spring from each party of the car and unhook cables of the parking brake from its adjustable levers (7). Disconnect a cable from the equalizer, having turned its tip on a corner the 90th hail. (8).
  1. Extend a cable from the forward holder.
  1. Poddomkratte the fuel tank, weaken collars of its fastening and remove cables.
  1. Installation is made upside-down. Stack cables along their original route. After installation adjust the parking brake (see the Section Check of the Brake System).

Boots of the parking brake

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove corresponding a back brake disk (see the Section of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  2. Remove a returnable spring from each party of the car and unhook cables of the parking brake from its adjustable levers (7).
  1. Remove internal returnable springs and the holding pins (4).
  1. Take off boots and the adjusting block (5).
  2. Examine adjustable levers (6) and the adjusting block on existence of damages and wear and if necessary replace them.
  3. Installation is made upside-down. After installation adjust the parking brake (see the Section Check of the Brake System).
