11.7. Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

The vacuum pump with the mechanical drive

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top cover of the engine (1) and disconnect a hose (2) from a turbocompressor.
  1. Turn out a bolt (3) fastenings of a perepuskny tube to an entrance tube of a turbocompressor, remove perepuskny the valve (4) from a delivery tube. Separate temperature sensor socket on a delivery tube.
  1. Weaken collars of the case of a throttle and a delivery air hose (7). Turn out a bolt (7) of fastening of a delivery tube to an arm on a head of cylinders and pick up the phone. Cover the case of a throttle and a hose.
  1. Disconnect a vacuum hose (8) from the vacuum pump and separate the socket (9) of the module of ignition.
  1. Remove the union of lubricant of the pump and collect the flowed-out oil (10).

Remember position of the vacuum pump and an axis concerning a groove. At installation this situation should be recreated.

  1. Turn out 3 bolts (11) of fastening of the vacuum pump and remove the pump.
  2. Installation is made upside-down. At first tighten the union of lubricant of the pump and bolts of fastening of the pump, and then with the required efforts, and at first it is necessary to tighten bolts of fastening of the pump to a head of cylinders, and then to an arm.

Electric vacuum pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the car also remove the protection cover of a motive compartment.
  2. Separate the pump socket, weaken a collar of a vacuum hose and disconnect it from the pump.
  3. Give nuts of rubber support and remove the pump.
  4. Installation is made upside-down.

Vacuum pump of diesel engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an air duct to the right support of the engine, remove an air duct from a turbocompressor and take him aside.
  2. Remove vacuum hoses.

The hose from the amplifier of brakes has quick disconnect connection (4).


Removal of the vacuum pump of the diesel engine.
  1. Turn out bolts (5) of fastening of the vacuum pump (6) and remove it.

Make sure that the directing plugs remained in a pump housing. Pay attention that the bolts rolled in the directing plugs are longer than the others.

  1. Installation is made upside-down.
