3.3. Schedule of routine maintenance
The Saab company offers several programs of service released by it cars, depending on the region of delivery and a complete set of the car. The 1 program as the program with the minimum intervals of carrying out service is given below. During this program the first service is made at 10 000 km of a run, or in a year after sale. Then service is carried out according to the corresponding indicator through each 20 000 km, or not less than 1 time a year if the run in 20 000 km is not reached.
Reminds the corresponding indicator of the coming carrying out routine maintenance (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation). After carrying out service the counter of the indicator should be nullified. For this purpose quickly press the CLEAR button, and then hold it pressed during 8 pages. At the same time through 4 with on the display there is an inscription CLEAR, and still through 4 with there is an inscription SERVICE that confirms zeroing of the counter.
After carrying out routine maintenance it is necessary to make a control trip on the car during which to make sure of lack of any malfunctions.
At 10 000 km of a run or in 1 year of operation, and then each subsequent 20 000 km of a run or 1 year
- Check and if necessary regulate an inclination of headlights, check serviceability of all glow lamps (see the Section Adjustment of Headlights and Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Replace motive oil and an oil filter (see the Section Replacement of Motive Oil and Oil Filter).
- Check the engine and the transmission for existence of leaks (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
- Check brake shoes, disks and the parking brake, if necessary you make the corresponding replacements or adjustments (see the Section Check of the Brake System).
- Check efforts of tightening of some elements of a suspension bracket (see the Section Check of Effort of Tightening of Fixture of Elements of a Suspension Bracket) *.
- Check pressure of a rating and wear of tires (see the Section Check of a Condition of Tires and Pressure of Their Rating).
- Check the level and a condition of cooling liquid, if necessary correct level (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
- Replace brake fluid (see the Section Replacement of Brake Fluid, pumping of the brake system).
- Check level brake liquids and GUR liquids, if necessary correct it (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
- Clean a drainage hose of a fairing of a windshield.
- Check a condition of the rechargeable battery (see the Section Check of a Condition of the Battery and Leaving behind it).
- Check liquid level for washing of a windshield and regulate a washer scope (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks), grease drafts of levers of screen wipers (see Specifications) and check a condition of their brushes.
- Check a condition of removable towing adaptation, grease a finger of the coupling device (see Specifications), previously having cleared it.
* Performance of this operation is supposed only once, at this routine maintenance.
At 30 000 km of a run or in 2 years of operation, and then each subsequent 20 000 km of a run or 1 year
- Check and if necessary correct AT liquid level (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
- Check a condition of CV JOINTS, and also their protective covers for wear, tightness and reliability of fastening (see the Section Check of a State of protective covers of CV JOINTS of power shafts).
- Check a condition of spherical support of a suspension bracket and the steering mechanism, and also their protective covers (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering) *.
- Check a condition of shock-absorbers of a suspension bracket and their rubber plugs (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering) *.
- Check system of release of OG for tightness, and also a condition of its rubber support (see the Section Check of a Condition of System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases).
- Check fixture of fuel lines and the fuel tank, check them for existence of leaks and damages (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Hoses and tubes in a motive compartment, localization of leaks) *.
- Check a condition of brake tubes and hoses, if necessary replace them (see the Sections Check of the Brake System and Check of a State and replacement of hoses and tubes in a motive compartment, localization of leaks).
- Check a state and a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (see the Section Check of a State and Tension of a Belt of the Drive of Auxiliary Units), if necessary replace a belt.
- Replace the saloon filter of system of ventilation (see the Section Check and replacement of the saloon filter of a heater and To/in) *.
- Check, clear, grease and if necessary adjust locks of doors, a cowl and trunk lid, and also stoppers of doors (see the Section Service of Locks and Loops).
- Check a condition of elements of security systems (see the Section Check of Elements of Security Systems).
* Performance of these operations is supposed then each subsequent 40 000 km of a run or 2 years.
At 50 000 km of a run or in 3 years of operation, and then each subsequent 60 000 km of a run or 3 years
- Check oil level in RKPP (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks).
- Replace the air filter (see the Section Replacement of the Filtering Air Cleaner Element).
- Replace spark plugs (see the Section Check and replacement of spark plugs and the module of ignition).
* Performance of this operation is supposed only once, at this routine maintenance.
At 70 000 km of a run or in 4 years of operation, and then at 110 000 and 210 000 km of a run or respectively in 6 and 11 years
- Replace the fuel filter (see the Section Replacement of the Fuel Filter).
At 90 000 km of a run or in 5 years of operation, and then each subsequent 100 000 km of a run or 5 years
- Replace a belt of the GRM drive of 4-cylinder engines (see the Head Dvigatel).
At 110 000 km of a run or in 6 years of operation, and then each subsequent 80 000 km of a run or 4 years
- Replace a belt of the GRM drive of V6 engines (see the Head Dvigatel).
At 150 000 km of a run or in 8 years of operation
- Replace AT liquid (see the Section AT Liquid Replacement).
