- Lay protective covers on wings and remove the top cover of the engine.
- Remove the rechargeable battery together with the pallet.
- Remove the assembly block of the relay and safety locks and remove it aside. Separate the sockets fixed in holders.

- Remove a ventilating hose (6) from AT, install the lever of the selector (7) on AT in situation "L" and remove it.
|
- Remove a clamp and take an AT selector lever drive cable from an arm (8). On 6-cylinder models disconnect cable channel (9) from the power unit.
- Turn out 3 top bolts (10) of fastening of AT, clear area around a joint of a jellied tube with AT and pick up the phone (11 and 12).

- Separate the socket(s) a lambda probe(s) (13), give a nut (14) of fastening of a back support of the engine and bolts (15) of fastening of a back pillow of the engine
|
|
|
Completely do not turn out bolts. |
- Hang out the power unit and lift the car.
- Remove forward wheels, the lower protection covers of a motive compartment and forward section of final system.
|
|
- Turn out bolts (22) fastenings of the steering mechanism, remove two back collars (23) fastenings of the giving GUR tube to a stretcher and remove tubes To/in from plastic collars on a stretcher.
|
- Remove the case of the air cleaner (24). On 4-cylinder models disconnect a radiator from the intercooler (25).
- On both sides of the car give bolts of fastening of spherical support of a suspension bracket to rotary fists and bolts of racks of the stabilizer of a suspension bracket (36).

- Remove a forward support of the power unit and basic plates (29).
|
- Install the special stand under a stretcher and give the remained 4 bolts (32) fastenings of a stretcher.
- Lower a stretcher at the stand approximately by 5 cm that it was possible to remove two forward collars of fastening of the giving GUR tubes. Remove collars, lower the stand together with a stretcher and take him aside.
- Remove a back support and a pillow of the engine (34).

On 4-cylinder models remove the plate fixed by two bolts to get access to fastening of the hydrotransformer on a driving disk. On 6-cylinder models remove the stopper (under a starter) closing bolts of the hydrotransformer (35).

|
- Turn out 6 bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer to a driving disk, turning for this purpose a bent shaft (36).
|
- Wring out the hydrotransformer from transmission and enshrine it in this provision by means of special adaptation (37) for the period of removal of AT.
- Remove the components specified
illustrations. Empty AT.
- Take the left power shaft from AT, suspend it on a plait and lower the car.
- Remove the left pillow of the engine.
- Lower the power unit approximately by 10 cm that AT was exempted from a structural element. Lift the car.
- Fix special adaptation on a jack, level its center with the AT center and with its interfaced surface (see an illustration).

- Turn out the remained bolts of fastening of AT to dvigatet, separate them and remove AT from special adaptation.
|
- Installation is made upside-down.
