13.1.10. Removal, installation, dismantling and assembly of a forward door and its components

Below the driver's door is considered; removal and installation of the right door is made similarly.

Removal, installation and adjustment of a door

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Separate the socket (1) of an electrical wiring of a door and remove from a rack A limiter (2) courses of a door.
  1. Give at first the lower nut (3) of the lower loop, and then, holding a door, a nut (4) of the top loop.
  2. Remove a door from loops.
  3. Installation is made upside-down. After installation adjust the provision of a door concerning a body.
  1. For adjustment of provision of a door in the longitudinal plane of the car at removals of a door slightly turn out bolts of fastening of loops to a body, establish a door and adjust its situation. Then remove a door and tighten bolts of fastening of loops to a body.
  1. For adjustment of provision of a door in the cross plane of the car at removals of a door slightly give nuts of fastening of loops to a body, establish a door and adjust its situation. Then remove a door and tighten nuts.
  1. In need of small adjustment of provision of a door up-down and vnut-outside at an open door give a nut, beat out the plug, tighten a nut and adjust the provision of a door.

Internal finishing of doors

The description provided below for a driver's door suits for all side doors.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a strip (1) on door frame inside. On a driver's door separate the socket of the block of adjustment of external mirrors.
  1. Remove the handle (2) unlockings of the lock of a door and the handle of opening of a door (3).
  2. Remove from clamps on door perimeter the panel of its finishing (4) and remove it from the lock button.
  3. Remove a lamp from finishing and separate the socket all sockets (6).
  4. Installation is made upside-down.

Replacement of an external rear-view mirror, its dismantling and assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a strip (1) on inside of a frame of a door and separate the socket (2) mirrors.
  1. Turn out 4 screws of fastening of a mirror (3) and remove it from a door, having pulled back.

Do not drop screws in a door.


  1. For removal of glass of a mirror wring out it the screw-driver from a clamp and disconnect from it a heating electrical wiring /
  1. For removal э / the motor of adjustment of provision of a mirror remove mirror glass, turn out 3 screws and separate the socket э / the motor.
  1. Assembly and installation of a mirror are made upside-down.

Glass and window regulator

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove internal finishing of a door and the moisture filter.
  2. At glass removal slightly give screws of fastening of a mirror and remove external consolidation, having turned out the screw on its back part.
  1. Lower glass so that his holder was visible at the top of a big lower opening (3).
  1. Disconnect window regulator levers from rollers of the lower guide, having taken out clips and having hooked levers the wide screw-driver.

Not to bend the lever insert the screw-driver between the lever and a guide, is closer to the hinge.

  1. If glass replacement is required, extract it from a door outside for the rear edge.
  2. Fix glass on a frame by means of strips of an adhesive tape.
  1. Vypressuyte the central parts of rivets of fastening of a window regulator to a door also drill rivets (6,7).
  1. Separate the socket (8) and turn out two screws (9) of fastening of a guide.
  2. Take a window regulator from a door through a big opening.
  3. Installation is made upside-down. Grease rollers and guides.

External handle and lock

For removal of the handle previously it will be required to remove the lock.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lower a window, open a door and remove a strip around a door frame.
  2. Remove internal finishing of a door and the moisture filter.
  3. Slightly give screws of fastening of a mirror and remove external consolidation, having turned out the screw on its back part.
  4. Lower glass so that his holder was visible at the top of a big lower opening (3).
  5. Disconnect window regulator levers from rollers of the lower guide, having taken out clips and having hooked levers the wide screw-driver.

Not to bend the lever insert the screw-driver between the lever and a guide, is closer to the hinge.

  1. Extract glass from a door outside for its rear edge.
  1. Vypressuyte the central parts of rivets of fastening of a metal plate also remove from a plate an electrical wiring (9). Then drill rivets (10), remove a plate and unhook an electrical wiring from the lock.
  1. Weaken fixture of protection of the lock, having turned out a back nut of the handle and protection and the screw of protection.
  1. Weaken fixture (12) of bottom edge of a guide, pull a guide forward and remove protection of the lock.
  1. Turn out 3 screws (14) of fastening of the lock to a door and remove draft (15) from the lock, turning the lock and at the same time unhooking draft between the lock and the external handle.
  1. Separate the socket (16) and remove the lock (17).
  1. Give a forward nut of fastening of the handle and remove a plate.
  1. Insert a key into the lock, turn it counterclockwise.
  2. At first delay a back part of the handle on so many that the end of draft entered a lever flute, and then extend the handle outside as much as possible.
  1. Turn out the screw of fastening of the holder of the cylinder of the lock, turn the holder clockwise (looking from the back party of the handle) and push out it from the handle.
  1. Finally remove the handle and its consolidation. If necessary replace consolidation.
  2. Installation is made upside-down.
