6.3.3. Removal and installation of MAF, MAP, IAT sensors and sensor of temperature/pressure of air of pressurization
MAF sensor

- Separate the socket of the MAF sensor and weaken collars of its fastening.
|
- Remove the MAF sensor, if necessary replace it.
- Installation is made upside-down.
|
The arrow applied on the sensor case has to specify in the direction of an air stream. |
|
|
MAP sensor
|
|
- Remove the top cover of the engine, separate the socket and remove the sensor.
|
|
Removal of the MAP sensor of V6 engines. |
- At installation grease a sensor carving with vaseline. On V6 engines check a condition of sealing rings of the sensor and if necessary replace them.
|
|
IAT sensor
|
The IAT sensor is used only on 4-cylinder engines. |
|
|
- Remove a rubber cover of the socket, separate it and remove the IAT sensor.
|
- Check a condition of a sealing washer and if necessary replace it.
- At installation grease a sensor carving with vaseline.
|
|
Pressurization air temperature/pressure sensor
|
On 4-cylinder engines the sensor of absolute pressure of air of pressurization, and on V6 engines – the combined pressurization air temperature/pressure sensor is used. |

|
- Separate the socket and remove the sensor.
|
|
Removal of the sensor of temperature/pressure of air of pressurization. |
- At installation grease a sensor carving with vaseline. On V6 engines check a condition of sealing rings of the sensor and if necessary replace them.
