4.4.2. Removal and installation of a head of cylinders and natyazhitel of a driving chain

The repair sizes of a head of cylinders are specified in Specifications. Procedures of repair are not considered in view of their typicalness.

Removal

Removal of asterisks of camshafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Start the engine on single turns, take a safety lock 15 and switch off ignition after the engine decays. Establish into place a safety lock.
  2. Cover wings with protective covers and uncover the battery and the inlet pipeline.
  3. Merge OZh, disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery, a poddomkratta the engine and remove the lower cover of a motive compartment.
  4. Slightly lower the car, remove the right forward wheel and disconnect GUR tube from a stretcher.
  5. Enter a wedge between the pallet of a case and a stretcher (on the right side).
  6. Remove the right support of the engine together with a collar, and then GUR tube arm.
  7. Remove the MAF sensor with a rubber saddle. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the MAF sensor and inlet port of a turbocompressor.
  8. Pick up the phone of ventilation of a case.
  9. Remove a forward lifting eye of the engine.
  1. Separate sockets of an electrical wiring of a pressure head tube of a turbocompressor, the perepuskny valve and the sensor of pressure and temperature. Disconnect a vacuum hose of the perepuskny valve and a zakuporta the open ends of nipple connections.
  1. Squeeze a natyazhitel of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units by means of special adaptation (9 on an illustration) and record a natyazhitel, having inserted into his opening, for example, a prutkovy key of 3.5 mm. Take off a belt from pulleys.
  1. Remove a natyazhitel. Give generator fixture (10 on an illustration) and shift it aside then remove a generator arm.
  2. Separate sockets of an electrical wiring of the sensor of temperature and the module of ignition (11 on an illustration).
  1. Disconnect cooling system hoses from a head of cylinders (12) (sockets of an electrical wiring (11) and hoses of OZh (12)).
  1. Uncover the throttle case lever, a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve, the probe of level of motive oil from a guide and disconnect fuel hoses (13 on an illustration).
  1. Remove the nipple of a sapun of a case from a GRM drive cover (14 on an illustration).
  1. Poddomkratte the car also remove a rack of the inlet pipeline.
  1. Remove a turbocompressor rack (16 on an illustration) and lower the car on the earth.

  1. Remove the thermofilter from a turbocompressor and a final collector (18 on an illustration).
  2. Turn out 4 nuts of fastening of a turbocompressor to the final pipeline (19 on an illustration).
  3. Remove the pump GUR (20 on an illustration) and suspend it aside. Turn out the lower screw of fastening of an arm of the pump GUR.
  1. Remove an arm of sockets of an electrical wiring of the module of ignition (22) from a lifting eye of the engine, and also a heat exchanger tube arm (23 on an illustration).
  1. Remove the module of ignition and spark plug (see the Section Check and replacement of spark plugs and the module of ignition). Uncover a head of cylinders and bring the piston of the first cylinder into VMT of the end of a step of compression (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP)).
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of asterisks of camshafts (26 on an illustration). Hold at the same time shaft from a provorachivaniye by means of special adaptation.
  1. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an intermediate asterisk and remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive. For this purpose after removal of a stopper, a spring and a pusher (27 on an illustration) use a key on 27 mm.
  2. Remove asterisks of camshafts and pull together the directing GRM drive chains with a rubber plait (28 on an illustration).
  1. Give fixture of a head of cylinders according to an illustration.
  1. Wipe the flowed-out oil and, having made sure that the chain does not prevent removal of a head of cylinders, separate it from the block of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Apply pro-masonry sealant on internal laying of a cover of a head of cylinders.
  2. Lay laying between the inlet pipeline and an intermediate part.
  3. Carefully clear all interfaced surfaces and apply the roller of Loctite 518 sealant 2 mm thick and 10 - 20 mm long on an internal part of the top interfaced GRM drive cover surface.
  4. Pull together guides of a driving chain with a rubber plait and install a head of cylinders with new laying on the block of cylinders. Make sure that the head of cylinders correctly sat down on the aligning pins and that the driving chain is not taken.
  5. Tighten bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in the sequence, the return sequence of their reversing, and with the required efforts (see Specifications).
  1. Tighten two bolts (5 on an illustration) between a cover of the GRM drive and a head of cylinders with effort of 22 N • m.
  1. Make sure that tags on camshafts coincide with their reciprocal tags and combine adjusting tags of a bent shaft (6 on an illustration).
  2. At a stanovita of an asterisk of camshafts also put on them a driving chain. Begin with the final camshaft.

Do not tighten bolts of fastening of asterisks yet.

  1. Press a stopper of a natyazhitel of a chain and establish a natyazhitel, having tightened it a key on 27 mm with effort of 63 N • m. Then establish a spring and a pusher of a natyazhitel and tighten his stopper with effort of 22 N • m.
  2. Tighten a bolt of fastening of an intermediate asterisk and bolts of fastening of asterisks of camshafts with the required efforts, holding shaft by means of special adaptation.
  3. Make sure that the chain correctly lies on guides, then turn a bent shaft on two whole revolutions and make sure that the piston of the first cylinder is in compression step VMT.
  4. Clear a cover of a head of cylinders gasoline, oil its aperture motive and lay on a head of cylinders, since an aperture. Make sure that cables on the end of a cover opposite to the inlet pipeline, are not clamped.
  1. Tighten bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders with effort of 15 N • m according to an illustration.
  1. Establish spark plugs and modules of ignition (see the Section Check and replacement of spark plugs and the module of ignition).
  2. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Tighten fixture with the required efforts (see Specifications).
